October 23 | Deadline to complete your university request. If you do not meet this deadline, you will be placed in a university at the program’s discretion. 1. Login to the VWPP Administrative portal. You have received a password via email. 2. Click on the “General info” tab at the top of the page and then the “edit” box. 3. Provide all information requested (you can wait to fill in “French mobile number” and “French university student number” until you are in France). 4. Click on “submit.” 5. Click on the “Documents” tab at the top of the page and then on “add documents.” 6. Upload: — a copy (scan or .JPEG) of the information pages of your passport (the pages with your photo and signature) — a copy (.JPEG) of a passport-sized ID photo with a light-colored background — a copy (scan or .JPEG) of the front AND back of your Vassar or Wesleyan ID — IF LA SORBONNE UNIVERSITÉ IS ONE OF YOUR UNIVERSITY CHOICES, you must also upload a short (one-paragraph) statement IN FRENCH explaining why you want to be enrolled there. We will send this statement to Sorbonne université. — IF UNIVERSITÉ PARIS CITÉ IS ONE OF YOUR UNIVERSITY CHOICES, you must also upload a list of 3-5 classes in which you would like to be enrolled. 7. Click on “save.” 8. Click on “Univ. Reg.” tab at the top of the page and then on “edit.” 9. Complete the “University Registration Request Form.” We cannot guarantee that we can enroll you in your first choice because there is a limit to the number of students we can enroll in each university. So please be sure to justify your first and second choices in the textbox. In this justification, please indicate the licence in which you think you will take at least one of your courses. 10. Click on « submit. » |
October 28 | You will be sent your university assignment. You will have to enter the university courses you would like to attend during the “drop/add” period in January into the VWPP database by December 1. You will receive information about how to choose these courses and enter them into the database in the email informing you of your university assignment. |
November 4 | Housing pre-departure meeting with Hannah Gersten, assistant director of VWPP. Please review the VWPP’s housing webpage in advance of the meeting.Nov. 4 at 9 am OR 12pm ET. Zoom link here. |
November 11 | Deadline to fill out the housing questionnaire. Please read the housing webpage before you fill out your housing questionnaire. (You must fill out the housing questionnaire BEFORE your housing interview can take place): 1. Log into the VWPP database. 2. After filling out the General info and University registration tabs (see above), choose the Housing tab at the top. 3. Follow directions and accept the terms and conditions of the VWPP Housing Charter. 4. Complete your responses and submit. |

November 15 | Descriptions of the writing intensive courses and seminars offered at Reid Hall will be available. You will have to rank your choices of writing intensive courses and seminars in the VWPP database by December 1. |
November 22 | Housing questionnaire is closed for changes. Requests sent to Hannah Gersten after this date are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. |
December 1 | Deadline for ranking your choices of writing intensive courses and seminars at Reid Hall and entering the university courses you would like to attend during the “drop/add” period in January in VWPP Database. 1. Login to the VWPP Administrative portal. 2. Choose the « Course Reg. » tab at the top 3. Indicate your preferences for each writing intensive and seminar 4. Enter the university courses you would like to attend during the “drop/add” period in January into the database according to the instructions in the email you received informing you of your university assignment. 5. Click on « submit ». |
December 2 | You will receive a message from the VWPP program coordinator (Sophie Kolesnikov) requesting that you indicate in which extracurricular activities you would like to enroll while in Paris. You should consult various websites to identify a couple of extracurricular activities based in Paris and include them in your email. |
